PATHFINDER REGISTRATION this Wednesday September 6, 6:00 p.m. for all children 5th-10th grade. Come and hear what our plans are for the year,. JAM AND BREAD/FAMILY GAME NIGHT: September 9, 7:00 p.m. Sunset worship will start with Jam and Bread down by the water and then we will play together. Please join us for a music filled vespers down by the river. Bring your voices, instruments, and favorite pack of hotdogs for a musical vespers and a bonfire. Board games, volleyball/basketball and a family movie gives the whole family choices for fun. Before we play we will help the Thrift Shop transition their winter inventory down. Pizza will be for sale, along with drinks and treats.
DON’T MISS the exciting Sustainable Preparedness Seminar coming to our church Sabbath, September 16, 11:00 a.m. & 2:00 p.m.; and Sunday, September 17, 10:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m. This was our most-attended seminar about four years ago and we expect the same this year. Start telling your neighbors and friends for these most intriguing and informative presentations! Check with Bev for handouts.
ADVENTURES are collecting items for local homeless this year for our mission project. We are going to make “blessing bags.” If you would like to help us and contribute NEW, travel size items, there will be a box by the bulletin board. Most of these items can be found at dollar stores. Warm socks/mittens/hats, individually wrapped snacks (crackers, granola bars, nuts, trail mix), nail clippers, tooth brush/toothpaste, chopstick, comb, etc. If you have any questions please contact Misty Milks, 828-335-8015.
